Stone Reception Desk

The stone was fabricated so that it appears to wrap around the surface, creating a continuous grain between planes.  The location of the veining was carefully planned and executed to wrap around the desk, creating an illusion that the stone has been bent into shape. The edges of the desk are captured in steel, providing a sharp contrast to the smooth, natural stone.
